In Fall 2013 Haverford’s new account management system was implemented in partnership with our colleagues at Bryn Mawr College to handle bi-college accounts and passwords. Along with heightened security features and web-based password changing, this system is a large part of our move to Single Sign-On.
One Password. Everything Haverford.
A Single Sign-On account means users can sign in to many College resources with the same username and password. When you change your password at accounts.haverford.edu, your new password works for most of the services that require you to log in. There are, however, some exceptions. The list below reflects which services use the new password, and which ones still use your old password. IITS is in the process of transitioning the remaining systems to use your new password. Haverford systems are currently in one of three categories:
- Systems that use the Single Sign-On username and password and can be changed through the kiosk available at: accounts.haverford.edu
- Systems that do not yet use Single Sign-On but will by the start of the 2014 Fall Semester. For these systems you will continue to use your old password.
- Systems that do not use Single Sign-On. These systems maintain their own username and password. If a password is changed via accounts.haverford.edu, the password for these systems will remain unchanged.
If you need to change your password for one of the services that hasn’t yet moved to Single Sign-On, please contact the IITS ProDesk. Our ProDesk staff can help you change your password for these systems.
