Game On!

Members of the Haverford Community can now register their Kindles and game consoles – PlayStation, xBox, Wii, etc – for use on the wireless network.  You’ll need the MAC address of your devices’s wireless network adapter.  The Mac Address is a number that looks something like 1a:2b:3c:a4:c5:e6 and can typically be found in your game console’s settings or on a sticker on the device.

How It Works

1.  Register your device with IITS by filling out the registration form, below.  You’ll get a ticket open notification from IITS indicating that your request has been received and is being processed.

2.  Connect your device to the HC-Game wireless network using the password havgame123

3.  Wait for your registration to be completed.  You’ll receive an e-mail from IITS when your registration is complete indicating that you’re ready to go.

An Important Note

When you register a device on the network, you become responsible for its use.  You are responsible for the legal and policy compliant use of any device registered in your name.  Please be sure to read the Acceptable Use Policy and Copyright Supplement on the IITS Policy and Planning Website if you’re unclear about your responsibilities.  Remember, improper use of the Haverford network and copyright violations come with fines and other sanctions and you should be fully aware of these before registering any device.

Game and E-Book Reader Registration Form

Please complete this form to use your game system or e-book reader on the Haverford Wireless Network (HC-Game).
  • This address is formatted something like 1a:2b:3c:a4:c5:e6. Be sure to provide the WIRELESS MAC address. Game systems with both wired and wireless connections will have two MAC addresses. We only support wireless connections.
