Personally Owned Systems and Buying Guide

There are public computing labs on campus, so buying a computer is not a requirement. However, most students do bring a personal computer to campus.  IITS provides some support to those students, visiting faculty and temporary staff who bring a Mac or Windows system that meets (or met) the recommended minimums at the time they purchased it.

Use the links on the left to see our recommendations on Hardware, Software, Printers and for details on what happens when you need support on a computer you own personally.
